Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how FranklinCovey North handles personal data.

When using our services, our customers and users (you, your) may provide personal data to us as individuals or as representatives of a company. We are the controller for your personal data and its processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

  1. Information on personal data processing

We care about your privacy. It is therefore important for us to protect your personal data and ensure that we process it correctly and lawfully. This Privacy Policy helps you understand, among other things, what kind of information we collect about you and how it is used. We ask you to read the Privacy Policy carefully and familiarize yourself with its content, as it applies to all communications between us, regardless of who you are and our relationship with you.

2. What data do we process?

We collect personal data, such as first name, surname, company name, professional title, e-mail address, telephone number and payment information, including when you sign a contract, order our services, provide payment information or otherwise provide your personal data to us, for example, through our various contact forms.

When you use our website, sign up for newsletters or otherwise provide information to us, we collect the data that your browser transmits to us to enable your visit to the website, such as IP address, date and time of your visit, time zone difference in relation to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), the subpages you visit, the status of access/HTTP code, data transmitted in each case, which website you started your visit from, browser, operating system and interface, language and version of your browser.

3. Why do we process your personal data?

We have registered your contact information, either because your organization has been or is a customer of ours, you have attended one of our workshops or you have at some point registered to receive communication from us. Alternatively, we have your data because we have identified you as someone who could be interested in our seminars, programs, processes and courses in leadership and organizational development.
We process your personal data for the purpose of providing, improving and developing our services, administering your account and fulfilling our obligations to you. We also use your personal data to communicate with you about our services, as well as for marketing mailings such as newsletters.

When you submit your e-mail address to us, you will have access to our newsletter with information on leadership and organizational development. If you have declined to receive marketing mailings, we obviously respect this and you will not receive such mailings. You can also choose to unsubscribe from additional marketing mailings at any time by using the unsubscribe link contained in each marketing mailing or by sending an e-mail to marknad@franklincovey.se

4. How do we share your data?

The personal data we collect may be shared with our third-party vendors and partners in order to provide our services. This may involve the cross-linking of your personal data with other databases. If another company within the FranklinCovey organization, our third-party vendor or partner is located or operating in a non-EU/EEA country, you consent to your personal data being transferred to that country. In such cases, we assure you that the transfer will only be made if the recipient can guarantee an adequate level of protection for the processing of your personal data; see the Security measures section below for more details.

Partners

If you use services provided by our partners that are integrated with our services, our partners may access information about you. The information collected by our partners is subject to their personal data processing terms.

Third-party vendors

We sometimes use vendors to facilitate the provision of our services, e.g. with respect to IT infrastructure, operations and hosting services, financial and payment services, and customer and IT services. Such vendors are bound by data processing agreements that are consistent with this Privacy Policy and act only in accordance with our instructions.

For safety reasons

We may share your personal data when required by law, and to protect the security of our customers and services and our rights.

Security measures

In order to keep the personal data we process in safe custody, we have taken several security measures. We enter into agreements with our vendors and partners regarding their processing of your personal data to ensure that it is processed in accordance with our instructions. If your personal data is transferred to operations in countries outside the EU/EEA, we enter into agreements regulating transfer and processing of personal data and containing, for example, the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, with the receiving company. Furthermore, access to the locations where personal data is stored is limited, and our employees must use a personal identifier to access these, passwords and usernames are required to log on to the corporate network, we have firewalls and antivirus software and otherwise take the technical and organizational security measures necessary to protect and prevent unauthorized access to your personal data.

6. How long do we keep your personal data?

You can choose to terminate your relationship with us at any time, for example, by terminating our contractual relationship. We will then store your personal data for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes of this Privacy Policy and conclude our relationship, but no longer than permitted by applicable law.

7. Your rights

You have the opportunity to receive information on the personal data about you that we process, regardless of how it is collected. Such information may contain details of where we received the personal data from, recipients or categories of recipients with whom the personal data was shared, and the purpose of processing the personal data. If you would like such information, please submit a written request with your name and address to us. The request should be signed by you and sent to marknad@franklincovey.se

If your personal data proves to be incorrect or misleading, you have the right to request that the data be corrected, blocked or deleted. You also have the right to withdraw consent provided for the processing of personal data at any time.

8. Updates

We may occasionally need to make updates or changes to this Privacy Policy. If we do this, we will inform you in an appropriate manner, and we ask you to carefully review the updated Privacy Policy. If you accept the changes, you need do nothing other than continue to use our services. However, if you do not accept the new version of the Privacy Policy, please let us know. The date of the last update to this Policy is stated at the top of the Policy.
